Self Portrait and Portraits Part II

After looking at these, find what you think are the best 2 or 3 tips and copy and paste them into a new post on your blog (I don’t need 2-3 tips from each site, but 2-3 total, but please look at all three sites).

            1. Think about your motivation and emotions: Blankly staring at the camera rarely gets good results. Be silly, don’t be afraid to over-act. The worst that can happen is that you fill up your memory card with useless photos; but you might also find yourself with a proper gold-nugget of a self portrait
             2.Use a mirror! It seems so obvious, but how to use mirrors is important, too – take it down from the wall, and experiment
            3. Have fun with it. Be sexy. Be yourself. Be awesome. Be different. Be creative. Whatever you do, have fun with it. That’s part of the point, after all.

                                                 I like this picture because this is the idea that i was going to do and this is a good example of it. I picked this because I thought it was a nice picture and I like how there is a red glare on the mirror it really gives this look a edgy vibe.

                                             I like this photo because it shows different emotions. I think that this was a good idea. I picked it because it really stood out to me and its fun and it looks like they experimented.

                                                  I liked this photo because it just looks like a daughter and father out having fun. I chose this picture because I thought it was sweet and I know what the subjects are.

                                              I chose this picture because I truly feel like this is a casual picture. It doesn't look staged or anything. I chose this picture because I thought it was a good example.

Please write a paragraph telling me your plan for your portrait assignment. Answer the following questions: who will you shoot, where will you shoot, and what will you do to make the shot successful. Be specific on all three answers. When I read it I should know who and where you will take the photos and I should know exactly what your plan is to make sure you get a quality photo. BE AWARE I MUST SEE RULES OF PHOTOGRAPHY.

         When I go to shoot next class I think that I'm going to do a self portrait or portrait. I decided to do this because I think that  my friends would want to take a picture, but I'm not sure yet. So I'm going to do it myself and I'm going to be looking into a mirror making silly faces. I'll probably go and take photos in a girls rest room. I'll will for sure use the tips that I got to make the shoot successful. Maybe to make a silly face I'll think of something funny. I will use simplicity,and framing.
