1. the most powerful images from the slideshow to me was the one that were the guy is saying goodbye to his family, I thought this because he could never know if he sees them again and if he does than i think that he will be grateful for it.
2. I thought that the most powerful group of photos were the ones titled " Life in Iraq". i thought this because it really shows you some of the stuff that you dont think war is. 
3. I think that the images come together to tell a story because it shows you some of the stuff that they don't do while in battle (even though when in battle all thy really do is just shoot their guns) like they clean their guns and clean their rooms and eat that kind of stuff.
A. When Ian is the subject the tense that it is written in is present tense.
B. The captions make the picture better because they explain whats going on.
4A. After a long day of training, Ian takes a walk in the woods behind their base to to clear his head and get his focus back for tommorow's day of  trianing.
