Lee Friedlander went to the Art Center Of Design in Pasadena,California to study photography. He was born on july 14 1934 in Washington State. In 1960 he was rewarded a grant by Guggenheim Memorial Foundation on his art He was greatly influenced by Even Walker and Frank Roberts. In 1958 he maried a woman named Marie and they have been married ever since. Together him and Maria had 2 children and are now proud grandparents. Friedlander's first solo show was in 1963 at the International Museum of Photography. He has published a book named "Stems" witch talkes about his life during a knee replacement surgery. He also has arthritist.
